Private military truck pulled free in the Sahara sand

Adventurous expeditions in an electric car, you can be a part of – Led by Next Adventure

Max. 5 cars · Participation after personal interview

This is an expedition – not an ordinary vacation

Next Adventure Expedition 2026 is for those who want to go on a real adventure in your electric car – led by people who have already proven that it can be done.

We have driven an electric car where most people think it is not possible: in the Sahara and far north of the Arctic Circle.
Now we invite others on expeditions where the limits are challenged again.

We travel in areas with unstable infrastructure, long distance to help and real unpredictability.
The route can be changed along the way and decisions made in the field based on safety, experience and the conditions we encounter.

You participate as an active part of the expedition together with a small group of like-minded people – and experience something that few would embark on alone.

Information

The expeditions are for you who:

  • drive an electric car and want to explore the limits of how far you can travel

  • are passionate about spending the night in your own car, at the most adventurous campspots, which very few have access to

  • thrive on wilderness, community and flexible plans

  • seek a life experience you would not complete alone

The expeditions are led by Minik & Rikke – Next Adventure

Our camp setup in the Sahara Desert

We have driven the routes ourselves, lived in the Tesla for over 200 days, from the Arctic Circle in the north to Western Sahara in the south, waited for power and made the decisions when there was no obvious answer.

We have crossed the Atlas Mountains, driven thousands of kilometers in the Sahara and completed long stretches without infrastructure.

During the entire expedition, we are available 24/7 as expedition leaders.

  • Expedition management 24/7

  • Detailed route and charging planning

  • Campspot coordination

  • Ferry and accommodation booking

  • Backup plans (B, C and D)

  • Technical and logistical support along the way

  • Continuous decision-making in the field

  • Coordination of special experiences along the way

  • Limited number of participants for maximum quality

Expeditions 2026

North Cape 2026

Denmark → Arctic Circle → Sarek → Lofoten → North Cape

The North Cape Expedition is for those who want to experience Europe’s last untouched wilderness, far north of the Arctic Circle. Far away from the stress of everyday life, where we get up close to the wild nature.

We have driven the route ourselves and lived in the car in the areas for more than 100 days. We know the silence in Sarek, where we have met large moose, seen bear tracks and caught trout in the glacier river, where the water is so clean that you can drink it. We have seen the midnight sun from Lofoten’s mountain peaks and caught large cod and saithe in peace and quiet in a kayak, in the most remote fjords, where ordinary tourists on cruise ships only get a brief glimpse before sailing on.

Europe’s last wilderness

The expedition begins with a ferry from Denmark to Norway.
From here, we move north, cross the Arctic Circle and move towards Sarek National Park, one of Europe’s most untouched and inaccessible natural areas. On through Abisko and out to Lofoten. From there, we continue towards North Cape along the rugged coast until the continent stops and the Arctic Ocean takes over. The entire expedition offers exceptional life experiences along the way, at our favorite destinations, which only a few experience. For recovery, shower and charging, we stay at a campsite approximately every 3 days.

Sahara 2026

Genoa → Morocco → Atlas Mountains → Sahara

The Sahara expedition is not a trip you take.
It is a journey you complete.

We have been here before ourselves. Driven an electric car where most people thought it couldn’t be done. Waited for power for days. Made decisions without guarantees. Felt the silence, the heat and the dissolution of time, when the horizon no longer has direction – only distance.

Now we are opening up for others to join the ultimate electric car expedition.

From Europe we move south. Over the Mediterranean. Into Morocco. Up through the Atlas Mountains and further out until the asphalt runs out and the Sahara desert landscape takes over. Out here there are no chargers, no road maps. Only experience, patience and the ability to read the surroundings.

An expedition – not a vacation

In the Sahara, everything changes. The power is extremely unstable. Charging can take 1–3 days – sometimes longer. Waiting time is not an exception, but part of the expedition. There is no roadside assistance. When something arises, we are the ones who solve it – in the field.

We drive offroad in terrain we know intimately. Set up camp where the silence is total. Spend the night by the Sahara dunes. Eat food over a fire with wild desert rats and dromedaries. Watch the sun rise over the sand and disappear again, while the night falls with a peace that few have experienced, where you can see the earth rotate.

Why it is possible

The Sahara expedition is only possible because we have been here before.
Because we know the rhythm, the mistakes, the pauses and the decisions that must be made when nothing goes according to plan.

Because we have documented experience in planning and carrying out long electric car stretches in the most challenging terrain – over the Atlas Mountains’ highest road, in extreme heat, strong headwinds, and desolate Sahara areas – where energy consumption, timing and safety margins are crucial.

Not theory. Practice.

We lead the expedition 24/7. Not from a program, but from experience. When the plan changes, we change it. When we wait, we wait consciously. When we drive on, it is because the time is right.

Who is it for?

The Sahara expedition is for those who seek the adventure of a lifetime.
Not comfort. Not guarantees.
But the experience of being far away – and coming home with something that cannot be explained, only felt.

The Sahara expedition is only for adult participants.

Framework

  • Date: Autumn 2026

  • Duration: 3–4 weeks

  • Accommodation: In your own car or roof tent

  • Power: Extremely unstable (charging 1–3 days)

  • Support: No roadside assistance · help far away
